The Monad Foundation announces Monad Momentum: an incentives matching program to accelerate growth of exceptional applications in the Monad ecosystem.
What is Monad Momentum?
Monad Momentum aims to supercharge outstanding applications during their first live months on Monad Mainnet, anchored by team-led incentive programs.
Selection is highly competitive. Teams must have a track record of delivering high-quality products, demonstrable experience, alongside measures for efficient capital deployment and against gaming behaviors.
Monad Momentum is not a grants program. It is not intended to support development nor operational costs.
Incentive programs remain an unsolved challenge across the industry. Despite numerous experiments, no universal formula has emerged for converting capital into lasting ecosystem growth.
Monad Momentum addresses this through two key design choices:
An incentives-driven matching model means program recipients have skin in the game. Teams are firstly investing their own resources, with Monad Momentum acting as a complement.
Monad Momentum will be rolled out in discrete waves, rather than as a single deployment. This allows for the incorporation of improvements in a quick and iterative manner, resulting in program refinement over time.
Strong teams understand their product, their market, and their users. Rather than prescribe how growth should happen, Monad Momentum empowers teams to execute on their own strategies.
Monad Momentum will select for teams with the strongest fundamentals and the greatest propensity for success.

Selected teams will be expected to share progress throughout the program as it relates to baseline tracking and iterative improvements to their program strategy. Realized performance and demonstrated effort are reviewed at regular intervals.
