The Monad Foundation announces Monad Momentum: an incentives matching program to accelerate growth of exceptional applications in the Monad ecosystem.
What is Monad Momentum?
Momentum is a grants program supporting teams who run user acquisition campaigns for their Apps on Monad Mainnet.
Apply with your campaign proposal and answer: Can you acquire users efficiently? Can you demonstrate a path to retention and revenue? Strong proposals that show these capabilities may receive matching support to test and scale their strategies.
Incentive programs remain an unsolved challenge across the industry. Despite numerous experiments, no universal formula has emerged for converting capital into lasting ecosystem growth. Monad Momentum addresses this through two key design choices:
Teams design and fund the incentive campaigns, ensuring skin in the game. Momentum grants boost them.
Applications stay open, but teams are approved in waves. This allows learning from early results and continuous program improvement.
Strong teams understand their product, their market, and their users. Rather than prescribe how growth should happen, Monad Momentum empowers teams to execute on their own strategies.
Momentum is aimed at teams with a demonstrated track record of shipping. The program does not fund early-stage ideas, development, or operational costs; it evaluates proposals on sustainability and unit economics and encourages experimentation to onboard new users to the Ecosystem.
Successful applicants will have:
Selected teams run initial pilot campaigns (~1 month) and share performance data regularly. High-performing campaigns may receive extended support.
Momentum applications remain open with review happening on an ongoing basis.
